Thanks to Alex Albrecht from Diggnation for the intro and Chris Brogan for getting it. Last week Drew announced that he will dress up as a nun if Microsoft officially launched vista by the end of November 2006. Microsoft announced they will delay the official launch until end of January, 2007. Verizon may be partnering with YouTube to offer more VCast videos to their clients. Meanwhile YouTube wins Time Magazine “Invention of the Year” even though it isn’t really an invention, nor was it invented this year. Google is being kept busy. They’re trying their hand at print and radio advertising again while battling copyright issues on their video site. Apple says there has been huge interest in the new iPod shuffle and very excited about the upcoming spending season. Viewers will no longer be seeing the guy from the commercials who they have described as “smug”. Apparently they took to PC guy (John Hodgman) more than mac guy (Justin Long). This may have contributed to delays in shipping MacBook Pro’s. Maybe not. Skype sees a new Beta release. Weblogs Inc. sells out to AOL. AOL creates revolutionary RSS reader. Just because it’s AJAX doesn’t mean it’s good. A member of the Google Video team spread the Karma Sutra Virus to its list members.

We review Goowy’s new YourMini’s personalized homepage, Drew discusses Pluggd’s hearhere additions, Plante goes into software naming conventions and iris’s on the virus. We announce the photo caption contest winner and finish off with a birthday cake for Drew.
