Steve Jobs just announced that not only is the 4gb iPhone Dead and buried, but the 8gb is now THREE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE DOLLARS. 399.

Hmmm.

Early gadget adopters were gleeful to get their iPhones early. Was it worth the extra few hundred bucks?

Sales will sky rocket, as this is basically a whole new release for iPhone. How does Apple do it?

Brilliance and Sex. That’s how.
