Rumor has it that Rupert Murdoch is considering an exchange in the form of MySapce.com for 25% share of Yahoo!, an estimated 12 billion dollars.

YouTube launched their remixer program last week in conjunction with Adobe’s Premiere Express software already available on PhotoBucket. There are a bunch of alternatives out there if you like this sort of thing. Our pick is JumpCut.com

Twas a bit of mixed day for Apple at the WWDC in Frisco.

Apple released Safari for Windows and announced that Safari will be running on the new iphone.

Google are coming under increasing pressure amid privacy concerns following a report by UK-based human rights agency Privacy International that gave them the big thumbs down coming last behind the likes of Yahoo, Apple and MySpace.

Yahoo investors had a bit of a cry at the recent shareholders meeting, many calling for Terry Semel’s head and questioning recent executive departures. We all know Plante loves his Yahoo!

Disney’s ESPN has purchased the largest cricket website cricinfo.com in an attempt to become more global.

China are allegedly blocking Flickr after photos of the Tiananmen massacre from 1989 were posted according to Yahoo!s Hong Kong office. They cannot confirm these details.

A leaked report found on the NYT has Google accusing Microsoft of making it difficult for 3rd party search engines to replace the default live search on Vista.

Continuing on their out of control collision course, ebay has apparently pulled Google’s advertising after a plan was leaked to crash the ebay user conference in Boston to promote Google Checkout with promises of free booze and women (actually made the woman part up because it sounds good). We wish to see an all out brawl between Meg Whitman and Eric Schmidt.

YouTube apparently ready to start testing a product that theroretically identifies copyright clips and blocks them which should please media companies.
